The National Flag

 

is a rectangular convas (прямоугольное полотно) 

is made up of (состоит из) two horizontal stripes and one vertical

the red stripe takes up  2/3 of the flag's width

the green takes up (занимает)1/3 of the flag's width (ширины)

the vertical red-white stripe has Belarusian ornament

The National Emblem

is made up of a green outline lit by the golden rays of the sun rising over the globe, a red star, a wreath of golden wheat (венок из золотой пшеницы) with clover flowers (цветки клевера) and flax flowers (цветки льна), red-green ribbon (лента) with a golden inscription "Republic of Belarus"

The Day of the National Flag and Emblem

is celebrated on the second Sunday of May

The National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus

-the music has been written by Nestor Sokolovsky, the lyrics - by Mikhail Klimkovich and Vladimir Korizna

-the words of the Anthem reflect (отражают) patriotism and brotherly relatoins (братские отношения) between all nationalinies that live in Belarus.
